"That," said Noah, "might be  really something worth seeing."

   So the devil  stepped right up and helped Noah plant the vine.

Then  the dirty old Devil took a lamb, a lion,  an Ass and a pig and watered the plant with their blood, Oh Wow!

Noah stood back and in amazement, just watched that vine grow like crazy, it was really something to behold!

   Now along with this legend, we are given the ultimate reason for the working of wine in the character of men;

Noah's New Vineyard

Where Poetry Came From?

According to legend when Noah entered the ark he took along a vine.   He had been a gardener before he built the ark, and when he settled  again on the land after the deluge, he planted the vine once more and  returned to his old occupation.  All was going well and he was enjoying the new life especially as he worked in his new garden. But then the dirty old Devil came to him and said:

   "Hey Noah, if you will let me help you, I can show you how to make the most wonderful and fantastic grapes grow on the vine by tomorrow."

That is why, after the first glass of wine, one becomes gentle as a LAMB, and  after the second glass of wine, a man becomes as daring as a LION!  But after the third glass one is apt to make a complete ASS of himself; but then after the fourth glass of wine, a man becomes drunk and behaves like a dirty PIG! However, in the morning, the fool wakes up and begins to suddenly Write Poetry!
