Two Thoughts About The World

* If the World were a few feet in diameter, floating a few feet above a field somewhere, people would come from everywhere to marvel at it.

* People would walk around it, marveling at it's big pools of water, it's little pools of water and the way the water flowed between the pools.

* People would marvel at the bumps on it and the holes in it, and they would marvel at the very thin layer of gas surrounding it and the water suspended in the gas.

* The people would marvel at all the creatures walking around on the surface of the ball and at the creatures in the water.

* The people would declare it sacred because it was the only one, and they would protect it so that it would not be hurt.

* The ball would be the greatest wonder known, and the people would come to seek its mysteries, to be healed, to gain knowledge, to know the beauty and to wonder how it could be.

* People would love it and defend it with their lives, and their own completeness, could be nothing without it.

If the earth was only a few feet in diameter…?

Amendment in Truth and get real!

* If the earth were only a few feet in diameter, men would have it locked away in some private museum and charge others to come and see it.

* For sure, some idiot would try to steal it!

* Some fool would say that God told him to smash it with an ax!

* Science would cut it open and see what was inside and then burn it.

* Politicians would make the masses pay them to rule over it and make sure those masses couldn’t become politicians.

* Communism would try to paint it red and dead!

* Socialists would chop it all to pieces and give everyone a tiny piece of it!

* History would declare it a mistake, and paint it shiny black!

* The philosophers would blame it for all their troubles and write stupid books about it!

* Religions would declare it to be all theirs and sell the rights back to their followers!

* Psychiatry would create a pill to “Shrink” it and make it go away!

* Industries would grind it up and try to sell it for scrap!

* Wars would capture it, then soak it in blood and shoot it!

* Hatred and greed would rule over it with laws!

* Calamity would spread upon it like thick moss and smother it.

* Hollywood would turn it into a delusionary perversion and blow it up!

* Environmentalists would use it as an advertisement to steel money!

* God would say, “Give me back my earth and all of you go to hell!”
