No big deal, just another day on the farm and Garth Jebro a neighboring farm worker needs to use the outdoor facility and walks over to the friendly "Outhouse"! But within moments he is totally freaked out and running for his life, shouting out incoherently to all his fellow workers about strange voices, singing angels and heavenly voices! They finally catch up with him as he gets his pants back up. But he is really shook up and just keeps looking back at the out house as if it were a dungeon of doom and continues mumbling something really strange about spirits and angels! His fellow farm workers and family are certainly worried for him because of his "mumbling" and "hearing voices" from the deep and the police are summoned to check this crazy story out. The local police arrive on the scene and enter the Out house with drawn guns, just incase, and are taken back when they too here strange voices from below? Not only voices but a whole assortment of music renditions and people singing and sure enough...heavenly voices! One brave soul on command from the Chief finally stuck his head down into the pit and came up with an assortment of cards, letters and envelopes of all types. It turned out to be a cash of letters, cards and assorted mail, all dumped there so that a local mail worker did not have to sort and deliver it. Apparently after some questioning the local mail delivery person confessed that he was tired of handling so much Christmas mail and decided that this pit would be a perfect spot for his unwanted work, after all who would ever know? The thing he failed to realize; many of the Christmas cards were those new fan dangled ones which carried a micro chip which talked out a message, sang a song or gave forth some good wishes! We might be able to say that this part of the story could have happened but now the twister comes into play. After county officials had pretty well retrieved most of the discarded mail from the pit, they discovered there were three letters to Garth Jebro himself. One of those letters was a seasonal Sweepstakes which announced that Garth Jebro was the second place winner of the Grand Sweepstakes and our frightened farm friends ruffled nerves were well smoothed out when he received a brand new Ford Pick-Up Truck from the National Contest! It has been reported that our winner Garth Jebro is now fearless when it comes to entering into outhouses! But the local Ford Dealer which delivered the top end pick-up, is somewhat reluctant in making the full story known.
