  It is said that some years ago a vessel sailing on the northern coast of the South American continent was observed to make signals of distress. When hailed by another vessel, they reported themselves as "Dying for water!" "Dip it up then," was the response. "You are in the mouth of the Amazon river."

There was fresh water all around them, and they had nothing to do but to dip it up, and yet they were dying of thirst because they thought themselves surrounded by sea water. (Amazon River pushes fresh water 100 miles into the sea)

People are often ignorant of their surroundings.

How sad that they should perish for lack of knowledge!

To better live Life, we must learn to observe, watch and not be afraid to experiment with circumstances around us. Why didn’t someone think to dip into the waters? Surely they had to know somewhat of where they were located, after all they were sailing a ship upon the sea?
 

Sometimes we assume the impossible first, and fail to consider an alternative to events. If we be stuck, there must be a way out, only if we will look for it. Apply your knowledge, your skills, your abilities, your imagination and explore new avenues for the sake of LIFE ITSELF! And you do this with the wonderful process of THOUGHT!
