Thank you Mrs. Hindman for your dedication as a teacher and for your personal efforts to make sure me and my other two sisters Rebecca and Sarah did not escape your class without growing wiser and gaining a better understanding of life. The Teacher must have the heart of a lion, the skin of a hippopotamus, the agility of a greyhound, the patience of a donkey, the wisdom of an elephant, the industry of an ant, and as many lives as a cat!
Yes, this is true, but a teacher today must also have: a second income, a third eye, a mind of steel, a heart of gold, an understanding mate, a will to outlive the year, a really good computer, the Internet, a Degree of Genius, a license to kill, the power to resurrect, enough fortitude to rise up again and again, a skill of a hunter, the insight of Einstein, a healing hand, a lawyer in the family, must be a skilled psychologist, possess a certificate of baby sitting, a smile that goes on forever, a dictionary of special words, a Mafia contact and a Degree in Insanity!
But more than anything… A Teacher must have ONE GOOD STUDENT TO MAKE IT ALL WORTH WHILE!
