Watch out on this one! This True or Bull story begins out at sea where; the dazed crew of a Japanese Fishing Trawler was plucked out of the Sea of Japan clinging to the wreckage of their sunken ship. Their rescue, however, was followed by immediate imprisonment once authorities along with the insurance company questioned the Captain and his fishermen on their ship's total and complete loss. To a man they claimed that, A Real Live COW came falling out of the clear blue sky and struck their trawler right dead center, crashing through the deck, shattering its hull and sinking the vessel within minutes! This hysterical and seemingly touched crew remained in prison for several weeks; until the Russian Air Force reluctantly informed Japanese authorities that the crew of one of its cargo planes had apparently stolen a cow wandering at the edge of a Siberian airfield. They went on to say that the wandering cow had been chased down by the crew and forced into the plane's open cargo bay and then the plane hastily took off for home. Without much forethought the planes crew was unprepared for live cargo. Therefore the Russian crew was ill-equipped to manage a now rampaging cow within its hold. To save the aircraft and themselves, they somehow managed to open the cargo bay doors and then directed the panicked animal out of the speeding plane while they crossed the Sea of Japan at an altitude of 30,000 feet! The odds of a cow falling out of a clear sky in the middle of the ocean are great enough, but to hit a Japanese fishing trawler dead center, well, that is beyond the imaginations of most logical authorities. Can you imagine the captains report, "No Sir, I'm not lying, no I was not drinking, I'm telling you it was a COW!" Or maybe the crew's letters home… "Dear Mom, you'll never believe me…" "Dear Doctor, I don't know if I should tell you this, but today a cow fell out of the sky…" "Dear Reverend, just like you said, I was tired of eating fish so I began to pray for beef…!" "Dear God, why are you casting cows out of heaven, why not something simple, like bundles of Twenty Dollar Bills?" After this report came in, I'm sure that the International Drug Enforcement Agencies were the first to be notified. Even if this story were to be made up, it deserves special considerations!
