The Secret Blessing in Sharing

One day a banker came by and asked him why he was being so generous with his best Wheat? "Well friend, I tell you now, it is this way; I know I have the best Wheat Seed around and my neighbors have a lesser Wheat seed. Now if I plant my better seed and they plant their average seed, and the fickle wind of fate so happens to blow, knowing no boundaries, possibly carrying with it drought, sickness or a devastating insect, better we all have the stronger wheat among the average for the sake of the future!"

"If I give my best away to them now, when it is ready for harvest then all of our wheat will be only the strongest and best! It is better to have the best, preserve it, and this is done by SHARING it NOW, NOT WHEN IT IS TOO LATE!"

While the banker was pondering what to say, the farmer continued, "So now, our community has only the best prized WHEAT in the whole region, which we are all proud of and our whole land is made the better! But if I kept my wheat seed to myself, what troubles would I reap from among my own neighbors and community? For who knows fate and its mighty hand? But now, our community is prosperous and we are all thankful friends and the future looks better and stronger than ever before!"

The banker never did come up with anything to say!

Thought: Unless chance finds occasion to teach us otherwise, our days might pass through this life without ever realizing the powers in sharing, which are so often imprisoned by the walls of our own selfishness. Our own lives could very well be like beautiful wheat fields but by our personal inherent ways, we allow the winds of fate to eventually pollinate our rich fields with less fortunate qualities or maybe even destructive attributes; Possibly with wheat which grew up right along side our own lives.

True blessings and honorable strength will always prove themselves! Especially when the one who possesses them, helps others to also grow in strength and is willing to share with others!

YEARS back and not long ago, a very wise farmer from an old land journeyed a great distance to another far away place. On his journey he discovered a very rare strain of special WHEAT SEED! This seed was extremely vigorous, able to withstand long droughts while producing great quantities of wheat under the worst conditions, and even more than abundant under better circumstances.
