Thought Dilemma!
Thinking Out Of The Box

You are driving along on a wild stormy night. You pass by a bus stop, and you see three people waiting for the bus:
1. An old lady who is about to die.
2. An old friend who once saved your life.
3. The perfect man (or) woman you have been dreaming about.
Which one would you choose, knowing that there could only be one passenger in your car. This is a moral/ethical dilemma that was once actually used as part of a job application. You could pick up the old lady, because she is going to die, and thus you should save her first;
Or you could take the old friend because he once saved your life, and this would be the perfect chance to pay him back. However, you may never be able to find your perfect dream lover again.

Think before you continue...

The candidate who was hired (out of 200 applicants) had no trouble coming up
with his answer. WHAT DID HE SAY? He simply answered: "I would give the car keys to my old friend, and let him take the lady to the hospital. I would stay behind and wait for the bus with the woman of my dreams."

Sometimes, we gain more if we are able to give up our stubborn thought limitations! (think "out of the box"). Always remember you're unique, just like everyone else.

A New Perspective!
Just realize that that puzzler was most likely created back in the 60's but there would be a totally different answer to it these days, for example... Mug the old lady and blame it on the old lost friend and kidnap the woman and hold her for ransom!  Or…stop and tell the three that your the new city bus service and take them all for a joy ride and drop off the two at the mall and charge them an arm and a leg? Or...just say, all old people are going to die anyhow, why waste the time or gas. That guy who saved my life should have never wasted his time, and that dream woman is just part of my imagination, no such things exist and besides, take this job and shove it! Or.. none of this could be, because no one really rides the bus or hangs around the street in groups of three. They're probably muggers anyhow! Or…sorry, I don't own a car, but if I get this job, I might be able to afford one and then I’ll try figuring out what the heck to do! Hey, did I get the job? Have a Peaceful Day!
